Founded in Trieste in 1892 and led by Martino Zanetti since 1988, Hausbrandt has become a global symbol of Italian quality and craftsmanship.

With over a century of experience, the brand has consistently delighted coffee lovers, blending tradition with innovation to create exceptional flavors.

1892

Hausbrandt’s story begins in Trieste, Italy , with Hermann Hausbrandt, a former commander of the Austrian merchant navy.
The entrepreneur succeeds in solving one of the biggest obstacles related to coffee, that of transportation and storage. Specialità Caffè Hausbrandt” is launched, becoming the first company to process and package coffee in sealed metal containers at its own plant, revolutionizing coffee preservation.

1940

Despite the challenges of World War II, Hausbrandt maintains its identity and emerges as Italy’s largest coffee-roasting company, preserving its historical production plants across the country.

2000

Hausbrandt expands internationally, with structured distribution networks and the establishment of companies in Austria and Slovenia, solidifying its position as a global leader in coffee.

2017

In 2017, a state-of-the-art logistics hub is opened, and in 2019, Hausbrandt undergoes a significant rebranding with a refreshed logo and modern corporate identity, continuing its legacy of excellence in the coffee world.
